My husband and I really wanted to love this restaurant, however, as the previous poor reviews mentioned, our Zen Bliss experience at ¥100,000 per person, was a big letdown. The prestigious white truffles promised on the menu prior to our reservations were replaced with the less expensive black truffles. The coveted nodoguro fish, also printed on the menu the night of our dinner, was not provided. There were tiny bits of shell in our matsuba crab dish as well. The overall quality and taste of the dishes did not impress and seemed average to other fine dining establishments at less than half the cost.
The chef and staff, while friendly and hospitable, did not bother to mention these downgrades. Additionally, the meal was very rushed. We were often still chewing our last bites of the current dish as they removed our plates and quickly set down the next course. At this pace, we were finished with our supposedly luxurious meal within a hour’s time.
I had also mentioned we were celebrating my husband’s birthday and sadly, the restaurant did not even acknowledge this occasion, which I had convinced him we should splurge.
We have dined at many Michelin restaurants around the world and this one costed more than some three starred rated restaurants, but failed to deliver, unfortunately.

Complete scam. Overpriced for the amount and quality of the food. The Sushi Chef was very friendly and experienced and the staff and manager were extremely friendly and understanding. Just the prices are bad. You can go somewhere else for a fraction of the price

Cosy & nice interior decoration. Very friendly chef & attentive servicing staff. High quality ingredients. Nicely arranged & presented on dishes. Not to mention how yummy the sushi, crabs & Wagyu were, the closing dessert with Japanese matcha in traditional tea bowl was another highlight. The set dinner was not cheap but worth it. In my opinion, it’s on par with any Michelin star Japanese restaurants.

Fantastic small authentic Japanese Sushi restuarant. It's very cozy as it only seats around 12 people, so a booking is a must. There is a very nice small bar at the front for a drink before or after dinner. Being so small the personal service is exceptional. The food is amazing as the owners have been exporters of Hokkaido produce for over 50 years. Will be visit again!
