What a wonderful stay at this place ! Dal is indeed a master chef. The dinner we had was of a Michelin star standard. He also has a good selection of wine. The breakfast was also fantastic. Highly recommended if you want a different experience for the usual minshukan. Dal also have a new in home stay Nonagase that we stayed in the next day and he personally came to meet us there!

An absolutely delightful place. The hosts have excellent communication. We took the standard pilgrim dinner and it was absolutely delicious! This wasn’t just food either, it was art that satisfied the stomach served with a smile. We had a room with small sitting area and dining area. The hosts were friendly and told us a way we could add some distance to our Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage by walking from this place to our next destination if we wanted to. Amazing sunset from a picnic table they have set up behind the guesthouse. Highly recommend.

I've visited three times as a farm-stay volunteer and can highly recommend it for anyone looking to experience the Wakayama countryside! Wonderful views, delicious food, adorable goats and all within walking distance of the Kumano Kodo trail! The owners are very kind and I'm always made to feel welcome.
