The hotel was really well designed, including our surprisingly spacious room and the compact but efficient lobby. Everything was quite modern with a little hint of the cool simplicity of Japan. We loved the bathroom, as well as the high quality bathing and skin care products the hotel provides. We especially enjoyed hanging out on our room's balcony, which even had a peekaboo view of the SkyTree. The hotel was right in the centre of Asakusa, close to dining, drinking, shopping, and of course the iconic temple. But it was just far enough away from the action that we didn't hear a peep from the street at night. The hotel has several bikes we could take out for free. We ended up getting around the city via bike every day and loved it. The staff were friendly, and happy to help answer any questions we had. And last but not least, the hotel pyjamas - made by hand via a traditional weaving method that felt like absolute heaven on our skin. I will never forget those pyjamas! The only problem we had was with our shower faucet. It was leaking and made quite a bit of a mess whenever anyone took a shower. That said, the drainage in the bathroom was top notch, so it never really bothered us.

Contemplating about writing this review...wanted to keep this hush hush for our next trip :)
We took a cab from Ueno station and it's about ¥1800. Make sure you have the hotel address in Japanese. It's not easy to find (initially). We arrived before checkin time and hotel staff was very helpful with letting us leave the bag.
We came back a little before check in and they had already moved our bags into our room. The hotel is on the small side but our room (Standard Twin) was spacious, clean and relaxing. The beds were so comfortable. All amenities well thought out. Got new slippers and water and drip coffee pack everyday.
The best part...the staff.. all of them extremely professional, welcoming and helpful. So happy we found this hotel online. Truly a gem.

We liked the privacy. Was close to metro stations and other services. Clean and spacious room with a good view of the Senso-Ji. Bed was really good and the adjustable lights were a nice surprise. There was umbrellas to borrow in the lobby.
