I visited this place around 7 pm and no more brown sugar tapioca tea available. I just got an original Taiwanese castella. One block for ¥700 and one slice for ¥400. I recommend to orde one whole. I always wanted to try this Taiwanese castella and glad I did. The texture is similar to Japanese cheese cake but not too sweet. It goes well with tea or coffee.

A nice alternative to the bubble tea scene popping up all over Tokyo. I typically like sweet tea, but the brown sugar option here was too sweet (with regular amounts of ingredients). The taste was delicious, it was just too much. I’d try it again and would say it’s worth stopping by.

So against my better judgement I tried this place. It definitely fits Taiwan's preference for bland food. Their signature dish is a flattened chicken breast breaded and deep fried and then sprinkled with one of five seasonings. I tried there original flavour and their pakuchi (celantro) flavor. It tasted like bland fried chicken with salt and pepper. I tasted no pakuchi at all. If you want fried chicken you'd be far better of going to one of the department store basement food floors a short walk away and getting Japanese fried chicken. It will be way more flavorful. It's a large piece of chicken. You might want to split one if your ignoring my review above

Had the brown sugar bubble tea option that they recommend. It’s good, tastes like milk tea. You can’t adjust the sugar and ice levels. It was the level of sweetness I expect in this types of drinks. I went at 11a-ish, it was quick.
