Exquisite Motsunabe and Kyoto-style Obanzai Feast in Shibuya

Charming Aspects of a Kyoto-style Izakaya

This Kyoto-style izakaya stands tall in the high-rise buildings of Shibuya. Stepping inside, you'll be enveloped in the elegant atmosphere of Kyoto. The thick beams and crisscrossing balustrades create an ambiance that vividly recalls the ancient capital. Additionally, the signed autographs of celebrities further attest to its popularity.

Savoring Seasonal Blessings with All-You-Can-Eat Obanzai

During lunchtime, the all-you-can-eat obanzai is exquisite. Colorful and vibrant Kyoto-style small dishes are lined up, each displaying the skill of the artisan. The smooth flavor of yuzu-flavored steamed egg custard and the yakisoba made with Kujyo green onions seem to be particularly popular.

Furthermore, specialty items like mentaiko, fried chicken, and roast beef can also be enjoyed. The cooking methods that bring out the flavors of the ingredients will not fail to delight the palate.

Indulge in Kappo-style Meats Demonstrating the Artistry of the Craftsmen

At night, this eatery is famous for motsunabe and kappo-style meats. Using carefully selected high-quality ingredients, the dishes served are prepared with great care. After enjoying the motsunabe, you can make a porridge with the remaining soup, allowing you to savor every drop of deliciousness.

Excellent Cost Performance for a Leisurely Experience

Every dish is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Yet, the prices are reasonable, surprising diners with their great value. In a relaxed atmosphere where you can converse without concern for your surroundings, you can delight in the flavors of the season. Forget the hustle and bustle of Shibuya and immerse yourself as if you have stepped into an established Kyoto establishment.

Lunch time is 1,200 yen for all you can eat. It’s quite good but I’d say it’s too pricey still for lunch time. You’ll be given a plate and you can pick any dishes you’d like. The chicken balls, karage, salad and tamago are all really good. I’d go back again if it was slightly cheaper.

Really good food. Tried the low temp cooked liver and motsunabe. Miso base of motsunabe was of the sweeter side. Can order via QR code

Raw beef specialty. A bit on the luxury side, you're there to taste delicious food (count ¥ 30-40k/person if you want the full experience). The atmosphere is cozy. There are about 6 or 7 tables. You have a view on the kitchen and can see the cook working. The restaurant is on the 8th floor. I recommend the beef with grated dried fish. The menu is only in Japanese. I asked the waitress to choose for me and gave her my budget using a translation app. She was very helpful.

The food and service were excellent! I was pleasantly surprised by the green tea and brown sugar broadbeans at the end.
