Cafe • 2-chōme-21-3 Izumi, Higashi Ward, Nagoya, Aichi 461-0001, Japan
Composition plan:
Komeda Coffee Takataka Store is the oldest remaining store in Nagoya that retains the atmosphere from its founding. Stepping into the store, you will be greeted by a retro space as if you have traveled through time and space.
From furniture to lighting, everything is designed to evoke the Showa era. There are even tables made from game console cabinets, reminiscent of old game centers.
In this smoking-allowed store, the unique scent of tobacco from the old coffee shops lingers. It may not be suitable for non-smokers, but it allows smokers to immerse themselves in nostalgic memories.
The morning set comes with unique sweets that are different from chain stores. Coffee is poured into a ceramic cup, and there is advice from the "mom".
In the morning, you can see working adults before their commute, bowing and leaving with the radio's time signal, as if time has stopped. It is a moment to feel the gentle flow of time.
