Unusually nice mixed-use building, but Nerima-ku generally does well with their libraries. English book selection is small, but of course you can always request books via the website and have them delivered to the branch most convenient for you. Not sure how good the current selection of books is, though they used to have a lot of English books years ago. I wanted to add a caption for that picture of the giant metal dragonfly just outside the building. There are actually two of them, but one of them has a broken head.

The Nukui Library has a better selection of books than the Nerima Library, and there is also a space for children where they can study quietly. There are some weird people sometimes, but these days there are weird people in every library (lol)

Most libraries in the metropolitan area close at 5pm on Sundays, but this one is open until 9pm. Another advantage is that it is close to Nakamurabashi Station (Seibu Ikebukuro Line).
