In a corner of the residential area of Miyazaki City, there is "Dining at Misakizakura", which has an old-fashioned townhouse-style presence. From the small entrance that seems easy to overlook, the scent of freshly fried food drifts during business hours, attracting passersby.
Upon entering the restaurant, there are counter seats, table seats, and tatami seats, with a nostalgic homely atmosphere spreading throughout. The menu mainly features classic Japanese dishes such as fried food, chicken nanban, and minced cutlet, but the popularity comes from the handmade flavors with a focus on quality ingredients.
Especially noteworthy here is the volume and quality of the main dishes. The soft chicken nanban with plenty of leg meat in the set meal, and the set meal with four large pieces of crispy fried chicken, are both outstanding in terms of satisfying portion size and quality. The homely taste of the side dishes and pickles has also received high praise from repeat customers.
There are only 3-4 parking spaces in front of the restaurant, but the calm atmosphere unique to the residential area is a nice accent. It may take a little effort to find, but beyond that, the hidden atmosphere and taste guarantee a delightful dining experience.
