A scene created by the melting snow, heralding the arrival of spring. At Asakusadake Park, for about 10 days from late March to early April, the melting snow flows into the dam lake, creating a rare sight called "yukinagare" (snow flow). This fantastical landscape created by nature exists only for a brief moment, as the snow and ice will melt away as time passes.
From the red bridge surrounded by the fresh green beech forest, you can gaze at floating chunks of snow. This melting snow irrigates the rice fields, contributing to the production of delicious rice in Uonuma. While expressing gratitude for the laws of nature, why not engrave this once-in-a-lifetime sight in your heart?
There is a walking trail from the parking lot to the viewpoint. Along the way, spring flowers such as earleaf snowflower and dogtooth violet peek out, providing a joyful moment. This park is also dog-friendly, so why not visit with your family and feel the breath of nature?
