I used it for Golden Week.
It seems that you can park your bike in a covered area for free.
The owner couple were very kind and easy to talk to.
I was worried that the bamboo dumplings I had bought in my neighborhood would be damaged when I brought them back to Tokyo on my bike, but they told me they had a lot of them and gave me an ice pack.
The room and shower room were clean.
The fried chicken from the Italian izakaya run by the owner couple was also very delicious.
It was an accommodation that I would like to use again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed in a private room for two nights by myself.
The 100-year-old traditional house, which was painted black by the owner himself, is a sight to behold! The inn was kept very clean, and the private rooms were particularly comfortable. I was able to stretch my wings to my heart's content by lying down and watching a large TV, having lunch, and then going out for a walk around town. As others have written, there is a restaurant run by the owner and his wife a few minutes walk away, and the pizza and pasta are excellent! It was a fun night of traveling while listening to stories from the owners who love to travel. It was an ideal guesthouse trip!

The room was new and very clean. The bed was also very comfortable.
The two owners are very nice people, and although it is a bit far from Niigata Station, it is a wonderful guesthouse that is well worth the trip.
New and clean room with not too soft or not too hard bed.
The owner couple is the one of the nicest people in my life time.
This is little far from Niigata central area but definitely worth going.
Due to the typhoon, my trip to Okinawa was suddenly canceled the day before, and I ended up going to Niigata. Since it was a long weekend, there were almost no hotels in all the areas we visited.
Meanwhile, on the morning of the first day of my trip, I happened to find a room available here.
On the second day of my trip, I left Yuzawa and headed here by bus for about an hour from Niigata Station.
``Good things are far away,'' my partner said, and I headed toward the place with high hopes. It was in an old shopping area, but the hotel was an old private house that had been renovated and looked very nice.
The room is also very nice and clean. The room was also large enough for two people.
There are two toilets, showers, and washrooms for men and women, which is very convenient. A large TV is installed in the room.
Usually, most of the customers are bikers and others who have a means of transportation such as a car, but we, who live in Tokyo, used public transportation to get around.
When I told the two owners that I had traveled for an hour, they said they could drop me off at the Sado Kisen Terminal, perhaps because they didn't have any plans the next day! ! Moreover, when the two of them heard that they were going to Sado, they asked their acquaintances for recommendations on Sado, and they made the list above.
The next day, before heading to the Sado Kisen Terminal, we were given a short tour of Niigata City, and we even shared some recommended ramen with us.
I had the experience of having a hotel that I had booked the day before cancelled, saying, ``I couldn't cancel because I didn't notice the reservation.'' I was really moved.
I'm not the type of person who usually eats ramen, but I'm really grateful that I was able to talk to them and learn about how I wanted to try ramen, how to eat Niigata's fu, and what it's famous for. I am.
(I don't think they usually provide this kind of service, so please don't have high expectations! I would be happy if you could just tell me that you two are very kind.)
Although Shirane is a small town in the countryside, it is a wonderful area with very warm people, including these two and the customers of the restaurant Goo Goo, which is run by these two!

This is a 100-year-old traditional house with beautiful white walls and wooden window frames, making it a beautiful building that stands out in this Shirane shopping district where many townhouses still remain. The inside had been completely renovated and was really comfortable. From the wood-grained desks and floors, you can feel the attention to detail of the owners.
I intended to stay for a week on a workday, but ended up staying for two weeks because it was so comfortable. .
There are many cafes, izakayas, Japanese cuisine restaurants, and sushi restaurants nearby. Even though I was there for two weeks, there were many places I couldn't go to.
There is also an Italian bar run by the owner and his wife nearby, so we enjoyed the exquisite carbonara homemade by his wife while drinking alcoholic drinks made by the owner.
It was a wonderful stay where we had many warm memories that will stay in our hearts! I will stay again! !

I used it when traveling,
I felt that it was a very good accommodation.
What I felt most was
It's about being considerate towards guests.
Equipped with outlets near the bedrooms and a TV in each room.
The facilities and supplies are quite complete.
I think that even among simple lodgings, this accommodation is as close to an inn as possible.
Among them, there is also the merit of being a guest house,
It is also designed to provide information about the local area and encourage interaction with people.
