Staff were polite but the sushi did not taste good. Cigarette smoke from the counter didn’t help.

I came here after 12 PM to have lunch.
Please take a seat at the counter.
For lunch, I ordered nigiri, chawanmushi, and tempura.
Grab it in about 5 minutes and wait.
On the table are sashimi soy sauce and sushi soy sauce.
8 pieces of nigiri sushi served with chopsticks.
It's a pretty thick fillet and delicious.
By the way, people never say that sushi is eaten with your hands.
Lately, the general manager, who also serves as a frying chef, made tempura, chawanmushi, and machido.
The freshly fried aageage is crispy and delicious.

It's a sushi restaurant, but they also had an izakaya menu, so it was nice to have a relaxing drink.
I have only eaten sushi rolls, but they were very delicious.
One thing that really caught my attention was the nails of a young woman working part-time (!?).
Maybe they were fake nails, but they were long and flashy, and while they might be fine for a business, they were really eye-catching at a sushi restaurant.
Even the delicious food that was brought to us seemed to have claws stuck in it, making it half as delicious.

This was specified when I selected the ``Kaiseki plan'' for my stay at Central Hotel Takeo Onsen, but I was disappointed that the sushi was not very good even though it was a sushi restaurant. The sashimi platter with stick outs and large pieces, freshly fried tempura, and piping hot chawan mushi were pretty good, but the sushi that mattered wasn't really sushi at all.
The reason for this was that there was no sense of unity between the story and the rice. It just felt like I was trying to squeeze a piece of sashimi on top of rice. In particular, the vinegar and water level of the sushi (cooked to a super soft consistency for sushi), if this suits the tastes of people in Takeo City and surrounding areas, it means that it didn't suit my tastes. . However, having eaten sushi in many different places, I can honestly say that the quality of the sushi was good enough to leave without eating all of it. It couldn't have been made in advance, right? That's what I thought, and I also felt that maybe the story was a little dry (or maybe it's just my imagination).
Moreover, I felt that there was a previous customer smoking purple smoke in front of the counter inside the store, which is unthinkable for a restaurant these days, so I have decided to leave a comment as a complaint (The owner views this comment I don't know if...) I've seen high reviews on online review sites saying it's cheap and delicious, but I personally would never choose this restaurant as a place to eat. At the very least, I won't be visiting again unless they ban smoking inside the store.

I used it at a banquet. The sushi, sashimi, and tempura were all delicious. It seemed like there were a lot of familiar customers, so it was lively.
