Expensive. Super expensive. 3000+ for a patch of grass, 1000 for a small box of wood, 3000 for the fire pit. No facilities. No showers. No kitchen. No tables. Slow wifi. And not really a campground, per se—just a small piece of land between the sidewalks. Might be fun for a night, but not at the current prices.

It was my first camping trip after moving here. It's an urban campsite in the middle of the city, but it feels pretty nice. It's expensive at 3,600 yen for solo, but considering Taipa, it might be cheap. There were a lot of people (about 200 people) having a barbecue about 200 meters away, and I asked the manager if it was an event, and apparently it was like this on weekends. Although it was Saturday, the overnight campground was 60-70% full. Reservations required. (You can make online reservations)

Urban riverbed campsite A campsite with a view of Osaka's buildings Since it was a weekday, only 3 groups were reserved. Cars can be parked near the site just to drop off their luggage, and then parked at the riverside parking lot for free. However, the gate closes early this time of year, so you won't be able to go outside. There are bicycles available for rent. It is true that there were times when ordinary people walking their dogs came close to the site, but there was no problem. The manager was also nice and made me feel at ease. I'll bother you again lol

I accidentally forgot a hammer to secure the pegs, but I was able to borrow one for free. When you enter, they give you a large amount of water in a plastic tank, so even if a barbecue fire caught fire in your tent, you were able to put it out before the surrounding area became a big fire. There was a big hole in the tent, but the area was surrounded by open grass, so the damage from mosquitoes was minimal. Although it was a rough experience for camping, I think this campsite is a great place to recommend to beginners. I think it's a good place to have fun if you can do it normally.
