Not really an update, but I'll note that I had quite a bit of trouble finding a book because the oversized books look almost the same and were shelved nearby. On the plus side, they do a better job of leaving the fly leaf material visible at this branch. All the review follows, as usual. Would be nice if Google Maps had a proper chronological reviewing system, because the changes over time are, after all, significant. Pretty standard branch, but the collection of English books is strong for fiction. The right side in the picture is all fiction, and half of the left side, too.

A small library. It is located in a quiet residential area. There aren't that many books, but you can borrow books from other libraries by making online reservations. There are children's books on the second floor and there is an elevator, so it's easy to get there with children. I used to use it because there was a reading aloud. There are few seats and it is used by older people rather than young students. This time I came to borrow a book for the first time in a while, but it was closed until February 27th due to the spread of coronavirus. It's a shame that the library isn't that crowded.

The library is located in a residential area, a little far from Nishi-Ogikubo Station. I often rented Rakugo CDs. Before the coronavirus, we held events where counselors from Suginami Ward visited the museum and talked about various concerns related to daily life.

This library is located in a quiet residential area. There is a park a short walk away, but there are no shops or anything nearby, so it's not a library you can stop by on your way to something. The good thing about this library is that they lend out CDs. (Some libraries in Suginami Ward lend out music CDs, while others do not.) Since it is a library after all, the CD lineup is narrow in genres and many are old, but they also have Western music and CDs of children's nursery rhymes, so I think it's convenient depending on the purpose of use. The number of cards you can borrow at a time is limited, but the best part is that you can borrow them for free. There are not enough chairs for reading books. Bicycle parking available.

The local library. There are books of various genres on the first floor and children's books on the second floor. Locals seem to come here often mainly for the newspaper and magazine section. There are 4 to 5 free chairs and about 8 seats with desks. However, in order to use it, you need to call the receptionist and receive the card. Currently, it can only be used for up to one hour, so it seems unsuitable for long-term self-study purposes. Although the number of collections is not as large as that of large libraries, it seems that there are enough genres. If we don't have the book you want, there is no problem because you can order it.
