Absolute favorite city I visited in Japan. The staff was very nice and helped me get a room super last minute. I walked in and said "do you have a room" and the price is good too. They even have spa that I didn't get to use and breakfast included. I'd stay here again!

The staff are very kind. It is clean and the surrounding facilities are very good. However, women in their 40s or 50sworking in the morning tend to discriminate against foreigners. It makes overbearing remarks and actions to foreigners. Other than that, it's a very nice hotel.

Very friendly staff (especially the Brazil-Japanese young lady at the reception who speaks various languages), seemingly new and well maintained hotel, nice public bath, good breakfast. Only real setback: extremely, I mean extremely (!) small room with accordingly extremely small double bed...

This hotel is 1 minute from the north exit of Omihachiman Station, where the JR Biwako Line rapid train stops. Although it is a so-called ordinary business hotel, it is relatively new and clean, having been completed in 2018. It's natural for guest rooms to have a unit bath and toilet, but it's nice to have a large public bath. It seems that the famous hot spring water is changed every month. The spring quality was displayed at the bathroom entrance. Amenities can be obtained at the front desk upon check-in. At check-in, you complete the procedure at the manned counter, receive a card key, and then pay immediately using the payment machine. Breakfast is served in the dining room on the first floor. There was rice and bread, but the side dishes were mostly rice-based items. It's likely to be crowded in the morning, so if you're planning on sightseeing in the morning, it might be best to be in the dining room by 7:00. The accommodation fee was 15,000 yen online during Golden Week. It can be expensive depending on the time of year, but when I asked the front desk, they were kind enough to inform me that online reservations are cheaper.
