Yuge Island, a hidden flower spot I visited in late February. As I was about to cross Yuge Ohashi Bridge and land on Yuge Island, I noticed a large tree in front of the T-junction that was partially dyed bright pink. As I walked clockwise around the park parking lot along the outer moat of the pond, I arrived at a spot that was dyed pink. This area also has a well-developed promenade, so be sure to stop by when you're out for a walk or stroll.

Before and after crossing the big bridge, there is a park with clean restrooms. Similarly, the end of Yuge Ohashi Bridge is a park. In one corner of the area is Fukasakaike Shinsui Park. Although the park is small in size, it has a calm atmosphere. In the past, ponds were used to collect rainwater to provide drinking water. This is also the starting point for the hiking course to the Kushiyama Observation Deck. If you have a car, you can climb the mountain in just over 10 minutes from the trailhead at the Kushiyama Observation Deck.

Fukasaka Pond is also the starting point for the hiking course that leads up to the Kushiyama Observation Deck. Jokoji Temple (National Important Cultural Property) and Kushiyama Tumulus can also be accessed from Fukasaka Pond.
