Aside from trash all over at the top... I assume it was tourists, as Japan is super clean in my opinion. It was a lovely spot. Great view

nice remote place situated near kyoto where you can enjoy a magnificent view of kyoto city. You can access by vehicle and there is a big parking nearbr. But if you area adventurous person you can do a small hike to reach through chioin temple

Great hike from the Shrine in Gion to the top. Really natural, didn't see anyone on the way up, really wonderful hike. Highly recommend it.

I loved this the place. Really isolated, peaceful sanctuary. There’s a few benches to have some food and a platform to watch the panoramic view of the city.
