Situated deep in the mountains of Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, Mitsumine Shrine sits at the summit with an elevation of 1,102 meters. It is known as the largest power spot in the Kanto area, captivating visitors with its mysterious atmosphere shrouded in mist.
The walk from the parking lot to the main hall takes about 10 minutes. This path is enveloped in a sacred atmosphere, cleansing the spirit with every step. The Mitsu Torii gate, tea houses, and other quaint scenery embellish the journey.
Once you step into the grounds, you truly find yourself in a power spot. The majestic main hall, sacred trees, and the red-eyed dragon offer a multitude of sights. Though the sacred trees can now only be viewed from afar, their mystical aura is still palpable.
Exploring local specialties at the souvenir shops can also be fun. You might be lucky enough to spot wild deer. This gives a unique experience in a nature-rich environment.
