Café A.oryzae, a standalone cafe located in a quiet residential area of Kiji-cho. While the exterior looks like an ordinary old folk house, stepping inside reveals a spacious and relaxed space. There are table seats and counter seats, suitable for large groups, but the calm atmosphere for small groups is also attractive.
All the menu items here are made with body-friendly ingredients and are handmade. The rice is made with brown rice and has a rich flavor. The deep-fried tofu as a side menu is also exquisite. The desserts include 6 kinds of cakes and tarts, which are irresistible for those with a sweet tooth.
This cafe, which is easy to book, is the perfect resting place when visiting Kiji-cho for sightseeing. You can not only have lunch but also enjoy coffee & cake only. It is recommended to stop by during your sightseeing and spend a leisurely time.
About a 10-minute walk from the nearest Kiji station. The parking lot is about 100 meters away in a free parking lot in the town. The location is a bit hard to find, so be careful not to overshoot.
