I chose this place for my first mainland udon.
It's incredibly delicious.
The line of order is long.
But it doesn't take long.
Customers have to order in line, but I can't speak Japanese, so I copied the previous person's order.
"카마타마 쇼오 히토츠"
And you can choose the fried food, pay, and sit down and eat it.
I sat outside and ate it, but it wasn't hot.

Queued for one hour for this udon. Firm texture, flavours are good, service too. We couldn’t speak Japanese but there was a staff who could speak Mandarin and he helped us with our orders. Love the food! Local joint — highly recommended!

Very popular udon shop for both locals and tourists.
Relaxing garden atmosphere. Simplified menu with numbering 1 to 9 to choose from, for easy and efficient ordering. Good pricing for every option. Very friendly services.
Recommended to begin with the standard size (一玉), and order second/different bowl if still craving for more.
Can select either cold or warm udon.

Lovely noodles but a tad too soft but more accessible

A local spot for one of the best udon in Japan. A local mentioned that they were the first one to do 釜玉うどん and that's the first thing you should try here. You can choose the portion size of the udon and also there is a tempura corner where you can select after you order your bowl of udon. Would be easier if you know japanese but the locals and staff are friendly to foreigners and they can help you if you do so. The dashi だし is done after you paid so remember to pour some on your dry udon. Please do not eat it as it is. 100% would reccomend driving to this place if you are in Takamatsu, Kagawa
