Temptation from the bountiful islands

Guardian of the land washed by the tide

The Oofunakoshi Seto, a canal connecting the east and west of Tsushima. This artificial waterway, built in a short period of six months during the Edo period, has served as a lifeline for the islanders. In the beautiful blue sea and the vitality of the tide, one cannot help but feel the weight of time.

Enjoy the island's attractions

The Oofunakoshi Seto, where you can see the changing scenery of nature according to the ebb and flow of the tide, provides peace to travelers on the island. It is a place for leisurely walks along the coast, enjoying fishing, and relaxing. It's also nice to get intoxicated with the sunrise scenery at times.

Convenient access point

With good access from the airport and port, the Oofunakoshi Seto is conveniently located as a transit point when touring Tsushima. We recommend taking a break at this picturesque place while efficiently touring the island. Please fully enjoy the charm of Tsushima in this place where history and nature coexist.

The video is of the sunrise. Even though I live here myself, it's hard to recommend it as a tourist destination, especially at this point in time. However, it is located 5 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Izuhara Port, and 1.5 hours from Hitakatsu Port, so I think it is a good place to stay as an intermediate stop when traveling around Tsushima. You can enjoy activities such as swimming and fishing by the sea (^^)

I stopped by on my way from Tsushima Yamaneko Airport to Manseki Bridge. After crossing the bridge, go back a little further to the left and you'll find a place to park your car, so I parked there and took in the view. You can see the beautiful deep blue tide.

It looked beautiful when I took off from Tsushima Airport. This is a canal that can be accessed by long distance boats between the east and west of Tsushima. It seems to have been made during the Edo period. My seat on the plane was on the right side.

My favorite place is Tsushima. It is a place that I hope will remain beautiful in the future. This red bridge is an important bridge without which you would not be able to cross the island. The flow of the tide is beautiful and I never get tired of watching it. I would like you to take a leisurely stroll through it at least once.
