It was a nice place, i would recommend to people that like exploring, or going out with your family, it was a great experience coming here.

I went there around 11 o'clock, and to my surprise, there was not a single person there, so it was reserved for everyone💦
I had expected it to be quite busy, so I was actually scared of how quiet it was with no one around.
Admission fee: 1,000 yen for adults, 600 yen for children
I understand that it's for maintenance, but I personally wonder if this is the reason why there are no customers. I felt that.
I think the tour took less than 30 minutes, even if you looked carefully at every corner.
It is said that among the 500 Arhats there is at least one face that looks like yours.
I remember seeing it on TV sometime ago, so I was looking forward to it, but the building's exterior was based on blue and red, and the stone statues inside were all Chinese-colored, with faces that looked not only like my own, but even faces that resembled people I knew. I couldn't find it 😓
There were toilets and a cafe-like area within the facility, but it was not open for business.
The 500 Arhats was certainly worth seeing, but...
The person's name was engraved on the bottom right of the statue.
Is this a personal offering? Donation? Is that what you're doing?
When I looked at the pamphlet I received,
It seemed like it was a loan from volunteers after all 😂
In addition to the 500 Arhats, there are various statues such as Shakyamuni, 18 Arhats, Four-faced Kannon, Rokudoji, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms, but they are very different from the various sample stone statues at stone stores such as Doraemon, Anpanman, dragons, and tigers. I don't think so...(I don't mean to diss)
It looked like they were actually selling stone lanterns inside...
It would be completely different if this was in a temple etc.
I guess it's a little tough when it comes to just a tourist spot. I thought.
There is a souvenir corner at the entrance reception, with miniature Jizo statues and stone statues. There are many rare items that can only be purchased here, such as Chinese swords (imitation swords), so it might be a good idea to go there just for that.
I looked around and looked at the Sanohara bedrock in front of me, but I thought it would be enough if I came once. That's what it was like.

The 500 Arhats were full of life-sized Arhat stone statues sitting side by side, and their faces, expressions, the things they wore, and the things they held were all different, and it was a sight to behold. Please see it with your own eyes
