Quantum Banana

Very beautiful hotel in the heart of Osaka. Services are very good in general. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve seen. Hotel room is also clean comfortable and luxury. What a pity is that they did not give upgrade even I’m a high level member. Also the hotel front desk was a bit chaos. They mess up who arrived first and who should be served first.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! Location - walking distance to the train station as well as lots of store to shop at. Room - very spacious and has many amenities. Highly recommend staying in a room that has lounge access. Club lounge - lots of seating, not busy at all (I stayed during peak tourist season). I was able to enjoy afternoon tea, cocktail hour and breakfast and thoroughly enjoy the food and beverages. I will say I ordered breakfast and it took a long time to come but it must have been the breakfast rush. Service - highlight of my stay! The service here was second to none! From check-in to check-out, every staff member I came across was so helpful!

Exceptional hotel in Osaka. Close to shopping mall, food options with amazing staff and wonderful amenities Stayed there for 3 nights and can’t think of anything that I’d complain about, even slightest ! Staff made sure my stay was perfect by going above and beyond. The Pierre restaurant was an amazing food choice and I got lucky to snatch a last minute reservation during my stay

True service is revealed when things turn out to be bad. Long story short, the hotel let me wait at the lobby for three hrs, which was a total waste of my three-day-long vacation. I admit that I mistakenly made booking date mistake. I accidentally booked the hotel for two nights starting the next day of my arrival. When I kindly asked the staff if they could do something. The guy said I had to talk to the supplier directly. Until then there was nothing they could do. I asked a few times if I could talk to the manager about the issue and the answer was always just no without even trying. So I emailed back and forth with the supplier numerous times while sitting at the lobby feeling tired after flight. At 4p.m. At last, the hotel talked to the supplier and refused to adjust the dates but decided to give refund. So I asked if it is due to the room availability that they could not help me. No they had rooms available. I just had to pay additional fees. I decided to cancel my booking and booked another hotel, which welcomed me from the moment I took off the cab. Alright. It was my mistake and you just followed the policy. But was it really best you could do? Is it so hard or so impossible to move the dates to a day earlier? How about my wasted four hrs sitting at the lobby waiting and waiting believing there was something they would do. It ruined my image about Japan and Osaka not to mention the brand IHG itself.

Highly recommended if you’re visiting Osaka. We have enjoyed the services from all Intercontinental Hotels we’ve stayed in the past.. But I’d say Osaka is the best so far (stayed there in April 2023). Their HK team (kudos to Shinnosuke by the way), reception & concierge team, and breakfast team are all simply the best!! Our suite was gorgeous and cleaned every day. They had even setup a humidifier for me (for our whole stay) because I had severe allergies (possibly from pollens). Also, loved our dinner in Pierre Restaurant.. Can’t say thank you enough to Osaka IHG team for taking good care of us during our holiday. We’ll probably choose this hotel again if we go back to Osaka in the future.
