A hidden gem of a restaurant in Osaka, where you can savor the essence of good old Italy.
Located in the back alleys of the Tenjinbashi shopping street is a mixed-use building with a strong presence of the Showa era. Inside that building, on the second floor, is Bar Albero. Despite being a small restaurant with 5 counter seats and 8 table seats, it is a well-established restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Italian cuisine passed down directly from Italy.
The pasta, risotto, and meat dishes, all served with a flourish, showcase the outstanding skills of the owner chef. There is no extravagance, but the flavors that bring out the full umami of the ingredients provide a deep sense of satisfaction without getting tired. Occasionally with a lively sense of humor, the dishes served with heartfelt dedication by the master are truly the crystallization of artisanal skills.
The retro and nostalgic space of the restaurant, which retains the remnants of the Taisho era, is also one of the charms of this renowned restaurant. The memorable time spent being cared for by the master for the entire 7 hours from opening to closing is truly a blissful moment.
