Ono Hakkei Natural Park is also known as a famous cherry blossom spot. Visitors can leisurely stroll along the promenade and admire the elegant cherry blossoms in full bloom. It is a place filled with hidden charms, suitable for families with children to easily visit.
The history of the pond dates back to the Muromachi period, and a shrine dedicated to the water deity is built on the shore. Continuing along the hiking trail, you can see remnants of the former army training ground and even the remains of trenches. The unique landscape of coexisting history and nature is also evident in the preserved power line construction road taking advantage of the natural terrain.
The grassy square has simple playground facilities, perfect for picnics. The children's play equipment allows kids to play energetically. From the cherry blossoms blooming in spring to the green season of summer, it is a spacious space where families can easily enjoy nature.
