The Odani Castle Sengoku Historical Museum is a must-see spot for history enthusiasts, located in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture. This museum vividly allows you to sense the history of the Azai family's rise and fall, rulers of northern Omi during the Sengoku period.
Inside the museum, you can find an array of precious exhibits such as portraits of Nagamasa Azai and Oichi, as well as letters from the era. These displays offer insights into the Sengoku period not only from the victor's perspective but also from that of the vanquished.
