The quality of food, baths, and rooms are good for the price. It's a little low. The reason I chose this ryokan is that the bathroom in the room had a pleasant view of the trees and the bathtub was large. As a smoker, I can smoke while looking at it. I had no experience with other accommodations and it was very relaxing.

I had stayed in the main building two years ago, so I was also looking forward to the annex. The rooms are smaller than the main building, and the open-air bath in the room is a semi-open-air bath, but I prefer the atmosphere of the inn in the annex. It is beautifully decorated with lots of flowers. In addition to plastic bottles, there was cold water in the refrigerator in the room, which was nice for those of us who bathe in hot springs many times. In addition to the rooms, there are private baths and large communal baths. There are two private baths, but they were of the same construction. The hair dryer in the private bath is a built-in type. It's nice to have bath towels provided in the bath, even if you don't have to bring them with you. You can always get ice cream and drinks in the free space, but I guess iced coffee is popular so I ended up drinking coffee water (lol) There is a reception desk, but the staff is not always there and there is no extension phone, so it is a hassle to have to go back to your room even if you have something to do. It would be convenient to have a doorbell. Meals are served in a semi-private room, so you can relax. It was delicious to be able to taste local food, but the food didn't seem much different from two years ago. If there is a little more emotion in the meal, the level of satisfaction will go up significantly. However, the Nakai staff were very kind and polite and made me feel comfortable. This is an inn I would like to stay at again if I have the opportunity.

A Japanese inn with all rooms equipped with open-air baths. The open-air bath in the room is spacious enough, including the bathtub. The atmosphere of the entire ryokan including the room was very nice. There were two rooms, which were spacious enough, and the massage chair in the room was so comfortable that I fell asleep for about 30 minutes. Breakfast was a bit simple, but dinner was all delicious! Overall, I felt that the prices of alcohol and soft drinks at dinner were very reasonable. I was happy to receive various benefits such as free all-you-can-eat ice cream, all-you-can-drink coffee, tea, and sencha, a night view tour by bus, and Chichibu souvenirs at checkout. The hostess' response was also wonderful. I would like to visit you again. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

You can use the private bath 24 hours a day unless you make a reservation and don't have a bath tag. There is also a rest area where you can drink coffee, green tea, and black tea 24 hours a day. We also had all-you-can-eat ice cream, which was great. The quality of the water in the open-air bath in your room is also good. The room was clean and the food was delicious and a good amount. I think this is the perfect inn for those who want to heal from their daily stress as there is nothing special inside the hotel. There were quite a few people with small children. I guess it's because the room seems to have an open-air bath. I didn't have to worry too much about other people as the meal was in a restaurant with a noren curtain that was similar to a private room. The staff was very nice and I highly recommend it.

it was very good. The soba noodles I had for dinner were very delicious. I was able to eat my meals slowly in a private room with a noren curtain so other people couldn't see me. I want to go again.
