Kegon Falls, affectionately known as "Tsukimikke" from the beautiful vertical flow of the white threads of water, is surrounded by a green forest. A stroll while being showered by splashes of water will give you a refreshing feeling. Standing by the basin, the harmonious blend of light shining through the trees and the splashes of water creates a divine atmosphere.
Near the waterfall observation deck, there is a small restaurant called Tsukimikke. Here, you can enjoy local flavors such as grilled river fish, sunken pork, and Nikko churros. The salt-grilled iwana fish is exceptional, and once you've tried it, you may find it unsatisfying elsewhere. Warming yourself with sunken pork and enjoying a warm stroll by the waterfall is highly recommended.
Kegon Falls is situated amidst a scenery of green forests and clear streams, truly embodying nature's temple itself. It has fascinated people since ancient times and still exudes unchanging grandeur. By visiting this place, you can immerse yourself in a world of meditation far away from daily life.
