It's neat. It's big. If you like this kind of thing, it is worth seeing. It has shows (moves --- very little, and has a nice light show) every hour or so. The entire area around the statue is beautiful, though. If you go to visit the statue, you should definitely make time to walk around and hit up all the nice places around it. There is so much area to walk around it, it's a bit shocking. Large open parks, random statues or moments, multiple shopping malls, etc etc etc. So, go see the Gundam and then go explore everywhere around it 😀

So we stayed an hour away by ferry (Asakusa to Odaiba) which was a pleasant ride onboard a futuristic ferry.. Sadly it was pouring down that day so walking from the ferry ground to Diver city. Took around 10-15 minutes with a toddler in the rain. But once got to mall, we checked out the Gundam base (7th floor) in the Diver Ciry Mall, then we went to the 2nd floor outside to check the life-sized Unicorn Gundam... which was pretty inpressive. Sad to hear the Yokohama Gundam closed a couple weeks earlier. So happy to see this life sized creation. Must visit if you are a Gundam fan, even if your not it's spectacular to see.

It is very impressive when seen up close, but as a unique attraction I don't know if it was worth the trip to Odaiba, we didn't get to see any of its "performances" either

Great sight to see for fans . Statue is very tall. Statue is well kept . People kept a ring around the area for pictures . Statue is outside no line to wait.

This is my first time to visit this statue. It was spectacular. We watched the 7pm light show. You don’t need tickets and the show is every 30 minutes after 7pm up until 9:30pm. You just need a good spot to watch.
