I did not stay at the hotel, I just went for the renowned onsen. As a Canadian, who doesn’t have bath houses in my country and I have only been to a few. This is the best onsen I’ve ever been to. I would pick this over my regular bathtub any day. They have so many different baths to choose from, my favorites, were the pot baths outside the milky bath inside and the cold dip. They also have a very wide range of Sauna selection, and my favourite was the medicinal one. you could lie down, and there were headrests. it was just a wonderful experience. Great community not too many people very hygienic, and the front desk was very helpful. I definitely recommend if you’re a foreigner or local. it is also kid friendly as I saw many children, but make sure if you bring your child they’re being very respectful and quiet.

A decent modern hot-spring / wellness complex and excellent value for money for the location. It’s not got anything on the famous hot-spring locations but if you need a good bath the bank, that’s open 24hours, it’s worth considering.

My son and I come to this onsen resort many times before the pandemic and this February, we again stayed at the Nara Kenko Land and Plaza Hotel for almost a month. The facilities/onsen and staff are all very genuinely wonderful and helpful. In particular, I'd like to note the Japanese lady in the Front desk who is fluent in English (Yano-san/矢野さん). Every time we stay there, it is so great to see her because she has always been so extremely kind and goes out of her way to assist us whenever we need help. We will definitely come back again. Thank you very much again for an enjoyable stay.

It’s one of the best place if you wanna spend your weekend slowly recharging yourself with your partner or family. There have a lots of different kind of ofuro both indoor and outdoor with variety of options with the temperature, size, pressure and your skin type. If you are willing to pay more, they have a lot more options of massage, sauna and stem, swimming pool
