Blissful Time at a Hidden Café: The Allure of Stove House

Villa-like Atmosphere Surrounded by Greenery

Stove House is nestled in a naturally rich area of Ebino City, Miyazaki Prefecture. This hidden café exudes an atmosphere reminiscent of villas in Karuizawa or Hakone. From the exterior to the interior, every detail reflects a commitment to refinement.

Inside, the use of reclaimed black-painted beams from old folk houses creates an impressive and calm atmosphere. The windows offer beautiful seasonal views, especially breathtaking in the autumn foliage season.

Popular Lunch Requiring Reservations

Lunch at Stove House is by reservation only, with two sittings: the first at 11:30 and the second at 13:00. The small interior has two tables for four and counter seating, accommodating only up to three groups per lunch, which attests to its popularity.

The lunch menu offers two options:

  1. Rice Lunch (e.g., hamburger steak)
  2. Bread Lunch (e.g., pita sandwich)

Both are carefully handmade dishes known for their elegant seasoning. The menu includes appetizers, soup, and dessert, all praised for their deliciousness.

Specialty Desserts and Café Time

The desserts that accompany lunch are not to be missed. Homemade chiffon cake and Mont Blanc, available for an additional charge, enrich the selection of sweets typical for a café.

After 14:00, you'll enter café time and can enjoy a leisurely period.
