Having read others' reviews I too sought out this sushi restaurant and ordered the 3500¥ omakase. Everything came from Takamatsu except the uni, which came from Hokkaido. The toro was amazing. The sushi chefs were accommodating and put up with my broken Nihongo wa. I most appreciated the chef's low ratio of rice to fish, so I didn't fill up prematurely.

The two of us made a reservation and had Omakase (「贅沢トロ握り」入りコース 6品). For 6,600 yen per person, it includes sashimi, grilled fish, nigiri, tempura, soup, beer or sake! I think blowfish sushi is a very unique place that can only be found in Japan. And the owner is really friendly to foreigners.

I used it at an event.
Starting with sashimi, boiled fish, grilled food, soup and nigiri sushi - all were very delicious.
The simmered meat was delicious, with just the right amount of flavor and the meat falling apart easily.
It's served in a satisfying amount, so you're sure to be full!
The problem is that you'll be full, so towards the end you'll feel sick to your stomach and have to loosen your belt.
There is a tatami room on the second floor that can be reserved for private use, so it is perfect for parties of about 20 people.

I looked up Takamatsu Sushi on Naver Blog, skipped all the restaurants, and decided to search for a sushi restaurant on Google. I guess I have a rebellious temperament.
We had the sushi special for 3,500 yen per person. 8 pieces per plate? It came out so well that I thought I was disappointed, but there was a lot of rice and the raw fish came out really thick. I have a big mouth, so it's hard to put it in my mouth. The taste that fills your mouth... I don't remember it being particularly delicious, but it doesn't seem like there was anything missing.
Additionally, I ordered octopus (taco), eggs (tamago), and scallops. What I ordered separately was that, unlike the special dish, the amount of rice and the size on top were relatively small. The menu doesn't list the price of each piece, so you can only find out how much it will cost when you calculate it. They treated me kindly even though I couldn't speak any Japanese, and I remember paying a little less than 50,000 won for each 500 yen Cheongha.
