The name of the mountain is Fukujuzan. It is an old temple of the Tendai sect. It is located at the trailhead of Mt. Yasuda Yasuda, and it takes about 30-50 minutes to reach the summit. The autumn leaves season is also beautiful. For some reason, when you go up the stone steps in the temple grounds, you are greeted by a guardian dog, but this may be related to the Fukuyama Gongen, which was located at the top of Mt. Yasuda Yoroiyama until around 1900, and was later moved to the Chodaiji temple grounds. yeah.

I went for a short hike on Mt. Yasuda Yotsuya. It felt perfect for someone like me who doesn't usually get enough exercise. From the top, you can see a panoramic view of Yonago and Yasugi, and there are tables and chairs for resting.

It is difficult to say that the temple is well-maintained. Even though it was not leaf-falling season, there were lots of fallen leaves, the guardian dog had come down from the pedestal to take a rest, and the stone statue was exposed to the rain, perhaps because the shrine had collapsed, and it looked quite dilapidated, probably because I visited on a gloomy, cloudy day. Is the information board in the precincts also for climbers built by the district? It was a disappointing temple with no explanation of the gods enshrined there.

It was a temple that soothed the soul.
The entrance was a little difficult to find.
