Although it is rather shocking to see the clothes of Mr and Mrs Saito with bloods, which they wore at the time of assassination, the place is quite interesting, especially due to the fact that the same street is also famous for the birth place of another well known administrator Goto Shimpei.
Tadao Higaki (tadaoh)
A facility that exhibits the achievements of Minoru Saito, one of the three great figures of Oshu City. He started out as a private in the Navy and rose to the top of the Navy, then served as Governor-General of Korea and became Prime Minister after Tsuyoshi Inukai, who was killed by a bullet during the May 15th Incident. He himself was killed by a bullet in the February 26 incident. I was moved by the story of how Mrs. Haruko sacrificed herself to protect Saito. I think it has the most extensive facilities among the three greats. Near the memorial hall, the library and old house donated by Saito for his hometown are preserved and can be viewed together. Admission fee is 200 yen, and you can take photos inside.

This facility is a must-see even for those who are not interested in the person named Minoru Saito.
There is a wide variety of exhibits that will keep you interested. The former house and library attached to the memorial hall are also atmospheric buildings that are worth seeing.

A memorial hall for the former Prime Minister.
He was involved in the February 26 Incident and was shot.
I went there after the incident involving Prime Minister Abe, so I was very scared.
The pillows, mirrors, and bullets when shot are very realistic.
I was surprised when I first learned that Minoru Saito also wrote the characters for the Date Masamune statue at Sendai Castle.
There was also a mansion (?) next to the memorial hall.
The decoration on the ceiling was beautiful.
I think there can be about 10 parking spaces at the memorial hall.
