It's good for 30 minutes, after that you've seen it all. It's great for fans and the people that work here are very kind and gladly answer your questions about Gundam. Most products were sold out so I didn't had the chance to buy anything I wanted sadly. They still had them on display so at least I could take a look 😁. If you go together with other people buy the tickets at least a month ahead to be assured of a spot on the deck. It can still get cancelled though, without refund.

I am so glad to have been here and witnessed this marvel in person. If you get a chance, I highly recommend going and seeing this before it comes down. Even if you are not a fan of Gundam or know anything about it, you will have a very memorable experience here. The show at night is even better and it's pretty cool to see from Marine Tower.

Bing Yiu

Went there last summer, spent hours inside, the best time to go is later afternoon and wait until sunset, the night time one gives totally different feel; check the timetable and plan ahead, book the dock visit, worth the extra, especially during sunset hour, the Gundam with the sunset background is epic. The cafe and shop are quite small and get crowded easily. I would love to visit again, but sadly they are closing it down.

Went on a Sunday afternoon, around 4pm. Didn't buy tickets in advance since it asked too much information. Queue for the tickets were short. It was a very memorable experience, especially at night when you can see all the lights. The gundam moved slower than expected but still entertaining to watch, even if I'm not a fan. Better to arrive a bit before sunset so you can see both day and night. But if you had to choose one, definitely go at night. There will sometimes be a queue for entering the store. It was smaller and had less kits than expected. The museum was interesting, too. Nice to visit while waiting in between shows. Food (not the cafe) was okay, could use more hot beverages since it's really cold in winter, being seaside and all. Popcorn was bland. Didn't try the cafe upstairs. I don't think the extra ticket for the viewdeck is worth it.

So fun! The entrance ticket only option is quite enough, since you can watch the whole performance from afar. Kinda limited merch, but still interesting. Kinda of out of the way from usual Tokyo tourist spots, but still a good place to experience.
