Experience Camping Surrounded by the Nature and History of Miyazuma Gorge

The Serene Beauty of the Green Valley

The Miyazumigawa Campsite stands quietly in the heart of Yokkaichi, enveloped by greenery and spread along the stream. The calm scenery makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The babbling of the river and the campsites nestled in the natural terrain promise a tranquil and leisurely time.

The Romantic Ambiance of History

This place has long been known as a training ground for ascetics. The shrines and stone Buddhas on the rock faces still faintly resonate with the spirit of the old days. While camping, it is also enjoyable to contemplate the spiritual culture rooted in this land.

Outdoor Activities for the Whole Family

From playing in the river to fishing and bird watching, there are plenty of activities to enjoy. Even families with small children who find setting up tents difficult can enjoy a barbecue by the riverbank. The free parking lot is convenient, allowing you to easily enjoy the outdoors even without bringing much gear.

Convenient Access

It is only a 30-minute drive from Yokkaichi and Kuwana, making it easily accessible. It is also close to the Tomei Expressway Kuwana IC, making it convenient for visitors from afar. It is not only suitable for day trips, but also an ideal stopover for sightseeing in Ise-Shima.

For those seeking a different kind of camping experience, this place, where you can savor the romance of history and the beauty of nature, comes highly recommended. Enjoy the unique experiences that can only be found in the untouched nature here.

Heads up! ⚠️NARROW ROAD .⚠️ This is the abandoned part (FREE) . Free parking . This rooms are no longer for accommodation. •For DAY CAMP ONLY . •Plenty of space to set up camp or BBQ. •No toilets. Recommendable for those who are looking for a camping site in a peaceful environment.

Free parking available. If you don't pitch a tent or tarp, you can play in the river without paying any fees.

Free parking lot for use when climbing. I also used it for camping. The appeal is that there are no sections and you can pitch your tent freely. Take your garbage home 💪

The valley is beautiful and the price is 1,000 yen per tent (for a single person tent). However, the parking lot is steep and you have to go up and down steep stairs to reach the site, so it is not suitable for family camping.

The remains of many bonfires were left behind like monuments. I'm a little disappointed. I don't want to become an adult who can't clean up after myself. The location is a beautiful riverbed.
