Cafe • I-180 Yamanakaonsen Imadachimachi, Kaga, Ishikawa 922-0135, Japan
Nestled in the mountains of Kaga, 'Inaho-ya - Kominka Marebito' is a cafe renovated from a folk house with a history of over 200 years. In a space that retains the atmosphere of the old days, such as an irori (traditional Japanese sunken hearth) and tokonoma (alcove), you can spend a leisurely time. There is also a wooden deck where you can enjoy forest bathing from the inside of the shop, as if you were surrounded by nature.
This old folk house cafe is located at the foot of Kaga's hill climb spot, Tatesugi Pass. It is equipped with a cycle rack and is frequently used as a base for cyclists to practice at Tatesugi Pass. You can relax your tired climbing body in the cozy cafe space.
While preserving the nostalgic atmosphere, new initiatives are actively being carried out. In 2022, the riverside terrace 'Kaga Rouge Terrace' opened. A refreshing open space where you can relax while feeling the gentle breeze and the murmuring of the river. In addition, the development of a camp space is also underway, so we can't take our eyes off the future developments.
Although the menu is not extensive, it offers carefully crafted coffee and delicious dishes such as Ogura toast. There is also a lunch menu on weekends, and if you enjoy it in a relaxed atmosphere, you can spend an exquisite holiday.
