It seemed like it was in full bloom. (It has been blooming facing east for a long time, so it may be at its peak now.) There is a platform with scaffolding in the middle of the sunflower field, and if you climb it you can see it from a slightly higher position. After rain, some roads can be muddy and rough underfoot, so be careful. Parking lot (gravel) available. Vending machines are also installed.

I happened to be looking at my smartphone and went there. There is ample space, but some are in the middle of growing and some have withered, so only some of them were in full bloom, but we were blessed with good weather and the yellow flowers stood out beautifully against the blue sky.

It's a sunflower field about 6-7 minutes by car from my house. If you are coming from downtown Toyama, turn left at the intersection where Hane Agricultural Cooperative is located from Route 359, and after a while you will see it on your left. (I visited on August 7th.) It looked like the flowers were wilting due to the constant heat. I visited around 8:00, and the parking lot was almost full. Parents and children taking pictures of a sunflower field with their children in the lead, and a woman carrying a professional camera. And somehow, I came to see Motohiro Hata's [Sunflower Promise] on a SKY PerfecTV music program... It was hot that day, and the smartphone I was using as a camera overheated, so I wasn't able to take any decent images. I tried to lower the temperature of the smartphone by wiping it with a sweat wipe, but the heat caused my smartphone to suffer from heat stroke. It might be better to visit a little earlier! ️

It's blooming again! I take this road almost every day on my way to work. It's blooming again recently. That's what I thought (⁠^⁠^⁠) The early sunflowers were only visible for a short period of time. It is now blooming right next to the attached parking lot. The agricultural cooperative along National Route 359 is a landmark. Turn at the intersection and go straight for a while until you see a temporary parking lot. It can hold about 5 cars. If it's a quiet place and it's sunny, you can take good photos with the mountains and sky in the background. It seems that both Tonami City and Nanto City have sunflower fields using fallow fields. The one in Tonami City was of a similar scale. It is best if the sunflower is facing towards the person taking the photo. For the time being, there was an observation platform like a standing platform built with iron pipes and angles, but we were unable to get to it. This is the place I want to go on a day when the sky is blue.
