Temple plan with two meals 7000 yen Located at the foot of a local mountain in Chichibu, with a small river across the road and an excellent local natural environment. Business contractors were also staying there. Dinner is a big enough meal with about 8 dishes. You can bring your own food. The 300 yen sake of unknown brand from Ochoshi was also good. There were two other types, including the local sake Chichibu Nishiki, but this one was 700 yen for 300ml. I was completely satisfied with the grilled fish etc. There are few meat dishes. Breakfast had an average number of items, but it was good. The room is spacious with a kotatsu. The cleanliness is passable except for some minor details. The people at the hostel aren't too close either. There are some bad reviews posted, but at this price I can't say I'm selfish. The cherry blossoms in the garden were blooming beautifully.

Syuichi Kino

This is a great value inn that costs about 7,000 yen for one night and two meals. It's not flashy, but I think it's a good place to relax and refresh in a secluded place ☺️

We had a family reunion with about 20 people and stayed there even during the Obon holiday. We talked until late at night, but it was nice not having to worry about what was going on around us. The bath is also spacious and can accommodate a large number of people. The amount of food you eat will be large and will fill you up. It was good enough for a guesthouse. I would like to go again if I have a chance.

I guess there were more people who went on a pilgrimage to the Chichibu temple. This is an old-fashioned guesthouse. The service is also courteous. The price is also cheap. The bathing time is short, the sound insulation is good, and the food is hearty considering the price. I regret that the breakfast side dishes were cold. The toilets are shared by men and women. No internet. As a general rule, it is prohibited to bring in food if payment is made in advance. Lay the futon yourself. The glass on my car froze when I stayed there on a cold day. I was grateful for the kotatsu in the room.

I stayed here for one night over the weekend. The Japanese-style room was very spacious and comfortable for two people. The tatami mats were new and the interior was clean. The meal was a "sightseeing plan", but I thought it was a good deal for the price as there was a large selection of items. It is a system that allows you to prepare rice from an electronic jar into a bowl by yourself. The large hall on the first floor was the dining hall. There were some families with children, but the noise from the surrounding rooms did not bother me. (I can hear the sounds in the hallway)
