Simply amazing. Top quality nigiri and sake experience till I was completely full for a very reasonable price tag, for the amount of satisfaction that I would have easily paid 10000yen+ per person where I live (Australia & Korea). We started with the Matsu nigiri combo, for 2600 yen for 8 pieces of ultra premium quality sushi (we are talking toro, uni and eel here) that were so good that ended up ordering 6 more pieces + grilled fish head.
Chef Yamamoto is also very kind and accommodating and speaks enough English to cater to non-Japanese speaking visitors.
We are staying in Takamatsu one more night and if only this place was open on Tuesday we would have come back for next dinner once more.

Small Sushi place run by a very friendly couple. They had an English menu available which made things easy. We had three "mixed" plates with 8 Nigiri each, a beer, sake and miso soup and payed 7700 Yen. The sushi and the soup were very tasteful. Very good value for money

Really nice Mr Yamamoto-san, he could speak a little English, but is friendly indeed. Freshness of sushi is so so, but sashimi of various kinds of shellfish are fabulous. Lucky enough, I tasted the freshness of japanese geoduck and 白子. Much much cheaper than what you can get in Hong Kong

This is a nice restaurant! We were rejected by two nearby sushi shops (not sure why, maybe cuz language) and finally came across this one. The boss is friendly and patient with foreign customers. No English menu but he tried hard to explain the dishes. I ordered the sushi set 1200 yen (as shown in the picture) It includes 8 pieces of sushi and tastes good.

After 1.5 years living in Japan, this experience has changed the way I see sushi. Everything was perfect, the people and service was heartwarming and nice, and the sushi literally made me almost tear up. If you are around the area, do yourself a favor and go visit this place.
