This is a traditional ryokan, but a bit outdated. are a bit worn, and the halls (especially the dining hall) are well-lit massive rooms. The good news is that it is 5 minutes walking from the ferry jetty, situated at the waterfront, and 5 minutes walking from THE torii. Breakfast is a bit sober, but dinner is traditional Japanese. Insist on a room facing the water!! That is tremendous extra value. Rooms in the back are newer (new extension), but none of the rooms is facing the sea.staff take care very well . Internet wifi very low speed.

Rooms we're amazing we took old school style with futon on tatami mats witch was great we had a nice view on shopping street and tori gate . The dinner was fantastic and breakfast has a good variety buffet definitely recommend I will probably do back next year ありがとうございます！

Traditional Japanese Ryokan with spectacular ocean view and walking distance from the pier. The room is clean and spacious.The 鳥居 is within the view from window of the room. The service is gentle and sincere. The front staff even ask us if there is any food we are allergic to. Upon knowing that we are allergic to port, the chef prepared us alternative dish. The dinner cuisine are tasty. Thanks all hotel staffs for the carefulness. This was such a great experience for us.

The reception staff are not helpful nor professional. They deal with guests as if we are stubid. I will never come back again. To be fair, the staff at the restaurant were so lovely.

It was a traditional Japanese hotel and very english speaking friendly. We were escorted to our room and served tea. Dinner was Japanese style and breakfast was buffet style. The staff was super friendly and helpful. During our check out day we were able to leave our bags as we explored the island. Location was right on the water and a super close to everything.
