The hotel room was very small and no window, so there was no natural light coming into the room. However, the hotel provided all toiletries and products, and they used quality brand. The location was central and staff were friendly and able to communicate in English fluently. Walking distance to major station, restaurants and all shops. Many reviews said it was noisy but lucky I did not experience that. I wish the room had a window at least which would make it better.

I read all the bad reviews before I check-in. Then I realized they do value every feedback in the reviews.Fridge problem-fix, escalator problem-fix. All the staff are in great attitude and helpful. The room is large if you compare the same price range of other hotels. The location is super convenient. My 3 day stay in WPU is extremely awesome, especially after the tiredness of my camping trip this hotel is definitely a heaven to me. I don't really love the crowds and chaos of Shinjuku, but If I come to Tokyo again, I will definitely stay in WPU again.

Foreigner-friendly hotel in a great location When I was looking for a hotel, I mostly cared about price and cleanliness. This hotel fit my criteria, and I was honestly pleasantly surprised by the facilities when I visited. This place is super close to Shinjuku Station. You can take the B15 exit and be there in minutes. It’s also close to a Family Mart which I admit was my breakfast for most of my stay. The location is a big draw for sure. The bed was a bit hard, but I was fine with it. It depends on the person, though. The rooms are a bit small. I was in a single, and I didn’t have a ton of room to move around or open my bags. The worst part was the bathroom. There was a huge step up into the bathroom itself, and the tub had very high walls. It was a tricky space to navigate.

The location is great and convenient, near many attractions, shopping, and transportation. The staff are very friendly and speak English. Unfortunately, the room is not very comfortable, and it is very small. The bathroom is especially small and uncomfortable. For the price paid, I thought we'd be getting a slightly better experience than some cheaper hotels nearby that mentioned the same issues, but it appears these issues exist in this hotel too. I did appreciate that they will loan you a baggage scale to check your bag's weight before flying home. They know their audience at least, haha.

Packed with international tourists / students. It's almost a separate ecosystem within Tokyo. Too westernized for my liking. Only one escalator (?!). Small room. No phone in room, which is really annoying. Location is pretty good.
