Hidden gem. Highly recommend.
Sweet point with mind-blowing desserts, located just around the corner, very close to some popular coffee shops, so it is perfect for those who would love to combine coffee and tasty desserts.
We tried chocolate tart, and we're not expecting to find it so complex and soooooooo good. Try it now

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here! The staff team was amazing - they went above and beyond to assist. The hotel offered a variety of cultural experiences and the staff team was extremely helpful to help us plan these activities even before we arrived and arranged translations during these sessions. The food, the room, the location and the view were impeccable. We will definitely come back.

The hotel is slightly overpriced but given that they don’t have a lot of nice hotels in arashimaya area so you may consider this one based on the service and food they offer
The staff are very polite and attentive. I sent a birthday cake over and they helped me out flawlessly.
They helped our luggage and basically everything they can
The breakfast view is great and food is good too
The room also provides free non alcoholic drinks

Excellent hotel if you are looking for a quiet & luxury stay right at the centre of Arashiyama, this is the place to be.
The room is very spacious, even with enormous bed, and the service is outstanding. Communication was easy.
Breakfast you must try - pastry selection is amazing, egg selection I don't need to mention.
While it is bang in the middle of Arashiyama, you do have to walk to stations, take the train to central Kyoto.
What we loved is that Arabica Cafe is just a minute away so you can be first in line, or visit in less busy hours.

We originally booked 1 night here, but we loved it so much that we left our second (more expensive hotel) and insisted to move back for a second night! This was our favorite hotel that we’ve stayed in Japan. Everything from the design, service, room, location and food were outstanding. The room is huge and, on the second floor, has the calming sounds of the water feature as well as views of the river. The bed is massive, the design throughout has a quiet elegance. The breakfast was extremely high quality. My only quibble is I felt the coffee could be a bit better. All of the staff we encountered, from reception to the cocktail hour and the breakfast, were so warm and welcoming. We felt very comfortable here. Would happily stay again and again!
