My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary along with our almost 2 year old daughter. Overall, fantastic experience. The dinner buffet has an All-You-Can-Drink Alcohol option for 90 minutes. The only thing about that was the service was slow. He could’ve drank more, but the beers & highballs were slow in being serviced lol
The breakfast buffet was better than dinner imo. There’s a kids play room for toddlers & babies as well as a small Game Center/arcade for older kids. The pool was a bit small & not appropriate for younger kids since there’s no shallow end of the pool. However, we had a great time walking around the golf course & enjoyed our hotel room with a lovely view. The bathroom is small though. I’m 5’7”, 125 lbs & it was a bit claustrophobic. The gift shop has an assortment of souvenirs & snacks. There’s also a Doctor Fish (500 yen for 7 min).
We came in the summer FYI.

Staff came up to us during our buffet breakfast and told us that another person at a table said we talk too loudly and don’t follow Japanese etiquette (we are a group with kids and adults). They said that we shouldn’t talk without masks on. We were not yelling . Ridiculous to have to be approached for normal conversation . Service needs work .

In winner season: the ski resort next to the hotel is nice for beginners and families. Ski rental is available and the equipment is I good shape. The baths are nice, especially the outside one. The buffet is ok, the restaurant on 1st floor is a bit nicer and more spacious than the one on the 11th floor, but the upper one has nicer views. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also lots of kids orientated activities.

This was our first ski resort experience, (so we don't have anything to compare it with) for 20k yen a night, you can certainly do better.
Food was terribly so-so, especially the lunch buffet on the first floor. The Curry cafe doesn't fare any better either, while it has big servings, the curry itself is bland. The dinner buffet on the 11th floor is the best out of the 3, and it's not even that good. Don't expect much.
As for amenities, they do have rotenburo for the hotel guests, outside of the hotel. It's separate bath for men and women. There is an onsen too inside the hotel, but they don't offer towels so just bring your room towel. There is also a very outdated game center, the ping pong area on the 1st floor is until 12:00mn, while the fancier ping-pong area on the 11th floor is only up to 10pm. You'll have to pay 500yen for a 30min game at the lobby area. Billiards is available too for the same price.
They offer rentals for ski wear too, and unfortunately for us, the ladies that were manning the counter were very snobbish and judgemental. They should definitely not work in the service industry if they're like that. In any case, most rentals include everything, but make sure they have your snow boots size before going to this hotel. XL sizes are very limited here. It costs about 5k yen for a set. A lot of snow activities are available here, such as snow mobile, dog sleigh, etc.
I'm assuming this is a budget resort, and since it's very near Tokyo, a lot go here for day trips, so be warned. Also, the hotel definitely needs to clean itself up. Carpets are so dirty, water stains on the ceiling (in the food area!), Dining tables are so wobbly...
All in all, it is terrible as a hotel, but great if you're just for the snow. So do yourself a favor and just go here on a day trip!
