I think it's a nice and comfortable campsite, except that the toilets are far away.
There were no outside lights around, so I was able to enjoy the best starry sky.
Please note that the subdivision site is concrete at the bottom and the pegs cannot be raised, so be careful during strong winds. There is also a famous place called Takinohai nearby, so we recommend visiting there as well.

It's easy to access. There was one-way traffic due to maintenance along the way, but there was no problem.
There are toilets on the roadside station side, but they are very far away as they are at both ends of a long campsite. I'd like another one at the halfway point, even if it's temporary. The toilet itself is clean.
I'm not good at camping, but since it's in the middle reaches of the Koza River and there are lots of large stones, it's quite difficult to set up camp. It is almost impossible to sleep directly, so a cot is essential. If you want to be on flat land, we highly recommend sites other than free sites on the riverbank. The ground is asphalt, but sandbags were placed to secure it. I think it's a good idea to bring some river rocks.
Water supply was nearby.
Garbage can be disposed of in designated bags and locations, but must be separated.
The monolith was majestic and amazing.

I stopped by for lunch. It was crowded during the Obon holiday. The taste, price, customer service, etc. are all average. The young male staff member was very tactful and I was able to look at the menu before entering the restaurant, which was helpful. did.

There is a paid area that cannot be used without a reservation, and a free area along the riverside that you can use as you like.
It looked like it would be easy to pitch a tent under the nearby roadside station, but the riverbed near the paid area was littered with large stones, making it difficult to find a good spot. Some people were setting up tents with stones arranged neatly. Since you will be away from the parking lot, it may be difficult to carry your luggage.
Thanks to the monolith, the sky was open, and stargazing while having a bonfire was great.
There are no restrooms nearby, but it was free and comfortable. I would like to camp here again.

As a roadside station, the selection is small. As a campsite, it remains natural. It will be set up on pebbles along the river.
The scenery is amazing♪
However, unless the pegs are strong and long, they will bend easily and easily fall out.
It may be difficult for beginners.
The manager was a nice and caring person.
