Tranquil Hideaway Atmosphere at the Long-standing Ramen Shop

Located in Noge, Setagaya-ku, "Nakamura-ya" is a long-established ramen shop nestled in a quiet residential area along the Kanda-Sengoku Road. The exterior is modest and unassuming, but once inside, you'll find a serene space filled with the aroma of home-style ramen.

Meticulously Crafted Home-Style Ramen

The home-style ramen, infused with the owner's dedication, boasts an exquisite balance of soup richness and seasoning. The pitch-black soup, condensed with the richness of pork, intertwines with the chewy texture of thick noodles. The tender and flavorful chashu provides a delightful eating experience.

Tranquil Hideaway Atmosphere

The small shop with a counter seating for 8 retains an old-fashioned charm. There are days when only regular customers visit, creating a quiet and calming space. It's enveloped in a hideaway atmosphere that feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of the Kanda-Sengoku Road.

Access and Parking Information

The nearest station is the Kami-Noge station on the Tokyu Oimachi Line, which is a 9-minute walk away. There is a small parking lot near the shop, allowing for visits by car. However, it's essential to exercise caution as the roads near the Sankei Expressway Exit are narrow and one-way.

For those seeking the traditional ambience and meticulously crafted home-style ramen, why not pay a visit to Nakamura-ya? Experience the hidden gem in the local area, Nakamura-ya.

I visited Nakamura-ya, which is now independent from a ramen shop. This is a ramen shop that I was interested in when I visited before. It is located in a place that is difficult to access without a car. I visited late at night, but the seats were filled one after another without a steady stream of customers. There are only counter seats inside the store, and water is self-service. You can place your order when you are seated and pay when you leave the store, but some customers were seen paying when their ramen arrived. The menu is posted when you sit and look up. The eggs seemed to be sold out by midnight, perhaps because they were so popular. It was simple, very delicious and very satisfying. Garlic and bean sauce are also available at the counter seats, so it's nice to be able to change the flavor.

One day in May 2024, I entered the store at 6:30 p.m. There was one customer. A store I used to come to when I was young. First visit in several years. I ordered green onion chashu. Did green onions taste like this? Even though I thought so, I was very satisfied with the same deliciousness! This is a restaurant where ``Tsukemen'' is really delicious! Thank you for the meal!

It's been a long time since I visited Oita! Was it Rasho? I did not know. I went there 15 years ago because a friend of mine told me the egg ramen was delicious, but I'm sorry, I don't remember the taste at that time, but I thought it was with a strong soy sauce. Today, I was planning to send my friends to Setagaya after fishing, but I was hungry, so I said, ``By the way, there's a ramen shop at the exit of Daisan Keihin, so why don't we stop by?'' I received it. I topped it with chashu noodles and boiled egg. It was a delicious soup made with dark soy sauce and a light flavor of pork. The pork loin was tender and had a lot of flavor, and was very delicious. The noodles were curly, easy to mix with the soup, and were chewy and delicious. Boiled eggs were always left on the counter and you peeled them yourself and added them to your ramen. The ramen was very well-balanced and delicious. Thank you for the meal. On this day, I had a bad timing, and there was a crackdown on people who violated the temporary stop, and the policeman was cracking down on me while my friends were eating ramen, so I stopped eating my ramen halfway and went to move my car for about 10 minutes, and the noodles didn't stretch out. It looked so cute. Thank you for the meal! I will go again!
