I have been to the Oki Islands about 5 times so far, but I decided to go to Nakanoshima (Ama Town), the only unexplored of the 4 inhabited islands, and decided to book this inn. The price was reasonable and the fact that it was new was important.
However, it is unique in that check-in is done at the tourist information center at Hishiura Port, and I think first-time users should be aware of this. I entered the accommodation book and paid the fee at the tourist information center, but I think the staff was not very efficient. I think it would save time if you could use the extra space at the counter to fill out your accommodation book while showing the previous guest around.
You will be given a key when you check in, but to enter the entrance of the building itself, you will have to touch the key, which seems to have a built-in chip, which I thought was excellent from a security point of view. It would have been even better if sandals were provided at the entrance for going out.
The room is modern and has a large desk that can be used for business purposes, making it very convenient to use. A bathroom with just a shower isn't bad, but when the shower came out from the ceiling, at first I thought it was water leaking. You may need to announce somewhere that there will be a shower coming from the ceiling as well.
Wi-Fi connectivity is also provided with access points in each room, and the communication speed is very satisfactory.
You can specify the breakfast time from 7am when you check in, but if you don't usually eat breakfast like me, it doesn't matter, but if you want to eat a hearty meal, you may find the portion a little small. The local ingredients from Ama Town were delicious.
I would like to use this hotel again someday when I visit Ama Town.

The photo gives the impression of an old private house, but the inside has been beautifully renovated.
In terms of cost/performance, it would be 90 points.
Since there is no parking lot, we are forced to use the free parking on the sea side across the road, but we need to reconsider.

An old house has been renovated. The inside is clean and there are no complaints! Breakfast is included. It felt so gentle! If you're thinking of eating dinner out, be sure to do some research and call to confirm! If not, you are definitely a refugee! Wakiya Shoten is nearby, so it might be helpful if you can stay there until 7pm!

Still new and very clean room
Personally, I don't like having a toilet attached to a glass shower.
The automatic front door lock is safe, but since it's a sliding door, it won't lock unless it's fully closed.
Smoking outside
Twin 8,000 yen/person including breakfast is high compared to the prefecture average.

It was located after walking along the port and passing through Yakumo Square.
A system where you take off your shoes and change into slippers at the entrance.
There is one washer/dryer.
Washing alone costs 200 yen, washing and drying costs 400 yen, which is a reasonable price.
There is a microwave and pot in the common space on the first floor, and you can enjoy tea or coffee for 100 yen.
There are some shops nearby where you can buy some groceries, but they seem to close around 6pm.
There were also several restaurants, many of which were open after 5pm.
