The park is honestly not that amazing if you count that you pay 500yen to enter (which is super expensive for a park in Japan) the only good place is the shrine in the middle of the water. I went there early in the morning, no people and super quite, such a good walk. There is also a lot of abandonned bungalow that make the site very interesting and a bit scary ^^ they were abandonned 8 years ago because of boar ^^ I really liked the walk. But yes expensive for what it offers

Seemed abandoned. Road near lake was dirty, dark and felt unsafe. Dont go here.

Unfortunately, it was raining, but if it were sunny, I think it would be a great spot to take a walk while looking at Lake Ashi. There is an admission fee to enter Kuzuryu Shrine, but votive tablets are also sold here, so if you think of it as a forest management fee, it's not a problem.
