Interesting experience for a first stay in Hokkaido. The initial impression is a little impersonal with a fairly indifferent staff at check-in. Information about hotel policies and facilities was provided in a prompt and efficient manner and covered all important points about spa usage especially. The room is well designed in terms of its aesthetic, and it is a relaxing space. If you are traveling with a lot of luggage or as a family, I would plan on booking a larger or corner room as storing our bags in a remotely unobtrusive way in our twin room was essentially impossible. There are several hangers and a rack for hanging clothes but essentially no room to put clothes down anywhere. A note on the spa; compared to Japanese onsen, the atmosphere among guests was a little bit rowdy and made it hard to enjoy the shared space, so I didn't make use of the facilities. The hotel seems to cater to young couples so do expect very awkward elevator rides... The location is great as has been stated by most other reviewers. Overall, a posh and affordable place that will satisfy young travelers who value having their lifestyle validated by various amenities that older or more experienced travelers can probably do without.

Really perfect spot to stay if you're interested in the Sapporo Snow Festival! We stayed for one week and enjoyed a very quick walk to both the main festival sites (the ice sculpture street and the snow sculpture park). Additionally there is a 7/11 right next door and the long main shopping street barely one block over. If you are travelling on public transport to get here, I recommend trying to bring your bags during the day because the snow gets very deep at night when there's less people wandering around. If you arrive early or you have a late flight- The staff are more than happy to hold your bags before and after your stay. All hotel guests are welcome to enjoy the spacious lobby on the ground floor too! There's a cute faux fire pit, lots of comfy chairs and a large bar-style seating area for people who need to work on a laptop or charge their devices. The rooms themselves are comfy and well furnished with mini fridge, thick blankets, extra pillows and free amenities (these are replaced daily around mid-morning when the cleaners come by to empty bins etc.). Hotel policy is to change the bedding every 3 days and the staff are not permitted to touch any of your personal belongings. So, please note what days they will visit and don't leave items on the bed, otherwise they won't be able to do their job easily. I felt bad because we woke up very late one day and the staff had to clean around the opened suitcases we had everywhere haha.

It was very nice, the mattress was comfortable, the spa was great, shower was nice and the staff was very friendly. The only issue was that the dryer (no.1) didn't dry at all after 1 hour and just heated, we just hung the clithes in our room

This hotel is such good value, the interior is beautiful, the staff are really helpful and kind, and the rooms are spacious! The onsen is also great, with an interior and exterior bath. There is free tea, coffee, moisturisers etc too. There is also a nice shopping street literally around the corner, with great food options. I will definitely be back!

We booked to stay in a Double Room for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much. We had taken the Hokkaido Liner bus from Niseko, and the nearest stop to this hotel is the Prince Sapporo Hotel, which is about only 450m walk away. Despite having many heavy luggage with us, we did not find that to be a problem. This hotel seems to be very popular with tourist group. When we arrived for check-in, there was a big group before us who had “cleaned up” the free toiletries, tea and other freebies laid out by the hotel for guests at the lobby. The front desk staff was very apologetic for the delay we had to wait, and we were given our room very promptly. The room is not very spacious, but this is not unusual for Japanese standard. However, it has all the modern amenities that are expected of a hotel of the price we have paid for in a city like Sapporo. There is a bathhouse at the hotel, but we did not have time to use it, so I am unable to comment on that. One of the best thing I love about this hotel was its breakfast. It was one of the best we have had during our trip to Japan this time! The location of the hotel is quite ok – it is convenient for us to explore the busy city by walking. We walked all over the city and visited all the highlights of the Susukino Ice World and the Snow Festival displays at Odori Park. The staff were helpful when we asked for assistance regarding transportation. We needed to go to the airport very early in the morning upon checking out, and as taxis were very expensive, we walked about 1km from the hotel to the nearest bus stop in Susukino (near Nikka and opposite Mercure Sapporo) to catch the bus that goes to the airport. Overall, we are very happy with our stay at this hotel for the price we paid.
