The location is a little difficult to find, and the road is narrow, so it might be difficult to get there by car. Bicycles are fine. You can take a photo with your car with Iwaki Bridge in the background.

When I went there, the road under the bridge was under construction and I wasn't sure if it would be accessible. You'll find it along the narrow path under the bridge along the coast. Perhaps because it has been a long time since it was built, the area around it was full of weeds and the monument was a bit dirty, but it's still a great commemorative monument! There is a monument like this near the bridge on the Yumeshima Kaido, and this is the Iwagi Island version. By the way, Iwaki Bridge itself is huge, but there are no sidewalks, so cars, bicycles, and people pass through it together, so please be especially careful when passing cars!

The three pieces of ``breakwater art'' that highlight the rich and beautiful scenery are said to attract visitors and make it a photogenic and beloved spot. It's a beautiful breakwater, but it doesn't appeal to elderly people like me.
