Quaint onsen hotel located less than an hour away from asahikawa. The style is really nice with a lot of places to locate and explore. They serve coffee around the clock and the water station is very well stocked. There is a lot of volumes of manga lined in the walls that people can read while lounging around. The onsen area is very well developed with an outdoor and an indoor area. I really enjoyed this hotel! The rooms are a bit dated but are still well maintained. This is a good place to take your family on a weekend. They served really good food too!

Good onsen to stop while on a motorcycle camping trip. 815 yen for 90 minutes. Little expensive and takes a few minutes of doing things before you can actually take a bath. You have to take your shoes to a locker, get the key and turn it in, get a bracelet, and then head to the onsen. After the onsen, you have to turn the bracelet back in, get your shoe key, and then pay.

The Nichiren Mandala Study Workshop

Room is very smelly probably from the toilet due to the old structure and mold. As usual everywhere now in Japan the "corona safety measures" causes long queues for breakfast which is something very irritating. Staff do they best but the whole concept is just a bath-house where you can sleep. Maybe their outdoor camping options are better, but the smell in the room is a nuisance 🙄

Great place to chill out. Various Onsen with various amenities. Mud facial pack and salt sauna are my favorites, but I’m amazed for the function that we can turn off the outside bath light to see stars for couple minutes. I tried twice and both were overcast though I tried my best to imagine stars in the sky. Books and magazines, snacks and flavored water or coffee/tea are free and eating at cafe is not the “hotel price”. Definitely my favorite!

There is a very good selection on the dinner menu - standard Japanese fare - and very delicious. It saves you a trip looking for food in the evening in nearby towns
